Baron Soontir Fel was one of the Empire's greatest pilots and commander of the 181st TIE Interceptor Squadron.  He was married to NR Pilot, Wedge Antilles' sister.  Fel eventually defected to the New Republic and was accepted into Rogue Squadron, another famous fighter squadron.
